Conditions of Participation - Instagram Contest

1. This competition is not affiliated with Instagram and is not sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Instagram in any way. The recipient of the information provided by the participant is not Instagram, but DITTRICH GmbH & Co.KG (Immanuelstraße 3, 32427 Minden), the operator of the Instagram account (dittrichhaltemolkerei) (hereinafter: the "Organizer"). The information provided will be used solely for the competition.

Participation in the competition is only possible subject to the conditions listed here. By participating, the participant expressly accepts these conditions. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons.

2. The competition begins with the publication of the competition entry and ends on Wednesday, March 16, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (“Contest Period”).



3. There is a total of one Gianni Chiarini bag from our range to be won.


4. To participate in the competition, the participant follows @dittrichhaltemolkerei on Instagram and likes the competition post. The participant comments on the competition post and tags at least two people in their comment.

Participation in the competition/prize draw is neither dependent on placing an order or using a service from us nor on the release of your data for marketing purposes. You have the same chance of winning in all cases. Participation in the competition/prize draw is free of charge. However, if competitions/prize draws are offered online, the participant must have an internet connection to connect to our website; the participant bears the associated costs. If the participant revokes their like or deletes their post, they will no longer participate in the competition.

Any natural person aged 18 or over is eligible to participate in the competition. Participation via competition clubs and automated services is excluded. By participating, the participant confirms that they meet the eligibility requirements and agrees to these terms and conditions.

5. Comments that violate Instagram's guidelines and/or our netiquette will be removed without notice upon notification. The participant will be disqualified from the raffle.

6. After the end of the competition period, a drawing of the winners will take place behind closed doors. Participation in the drawing requires full participation in accordance with Section 4 of the competition's terms and conditions.

7. The winners will be notified via Instagram's direct message function. Winners must provide their contact and address details via direct message to the @dittrichhaltemolkerei Instagram page within 5 business days (from the notification of the prize).

If winners fail to confirm acceptance of the prize within this time, their right to the prize will be forfeited without compensation. A replacement winner will then be selected using the same procedure. There is no obligation to accept the prize.

8. If personal data is collected from participants as part of the competition, this data will be collected, processed, and used by the organizer exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition and will be deleted after the competition has ended. The participant expressly consents to this. The participant may revoke this consent at any time by letter, fax, or email. The participant is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data submitted.

9. The personal data of participants will be used and collected by the organizer in compliance with data protection regulations.

Consent can be revoked at any time by deleting the corresponding post. In this case, the participant also declares that they will no longer participate in the competition.

10. Cash payment of prizes is not possible. Claims to prizes cannot be transferred or assigned to other persons. Legal recourse is excluded. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall remain unaffected. They will be replaced by an appropriate provision that most closely reflects the purpose of the invalid provision. The organizer reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time.

1.) Processing of your personal data in the context of the competition

We process your personal data for the proper implementation and processing of the competition and in particular for the dispatch of the prize.

To conduct the competition, the profile name and, if available, the first and last name of each participant will be collected and stored.

To ship the prize, we will also collect the winner's first and last name, as well as their address, and will forward this information to a shipping company commissioned by us. Your data will not be passed on to third parties beyond this.

The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (implementation of pre-contractual measures and fulfillment of a contract).

If we publish the first and last names of the winner(s) separately on our profile or fan page or announce them externally, for example in our online shop, this will only be done if we have obtained the express consent of the winner(s) in advance in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

2.) Storage period

After the competition has ended, your personal data processed as part of the competition will be deleted no later than three months after the end of the competition, unless you have given your effective consent to further processing and/or we have no legitimate interest in continuing to store the data.

3.) Your rights as a data subject

The applicable data protection law grants you the following data subject rights if the respective legal requirements are met:
